We had some awesome looking scarecrows ready to "scare away drugs" for our red ribbon week. The kids had fun walking in a parade through the school. Then we had a terrific time rotating through our Fall Fun Day stations.

We are having scarecrow day on Friday. Here is a picture of some of the second grade teachers in their scarecrow outfits to give you an idea on how to dress your child.

Today we had an author come to visit! His name is Jeff Cook. He is a firefighter that wrote a story
called Tails from the Firehouse. It is about a firehouse dog. He also reviewed fire safety with the children. They had fun listening to him and I know they learned lots of good tips. You may want to ask them about throwing toys at the firemen!!
