Field Day!!!

We have definitely ended our year with a BANG! Field Day was a blast as you can see from the pictures. I have truly enjoyed every day that I have spent with each of you this year. I hope you have a terrific summer!

Dinosaur Day and Carnival!!

Saying that today was exciting would be a major understatement! I would not be surprised if your children came home and fell asleep right away! The carnival this morning was a blast and the kids even got to see me making a fool of myself with my face in a pie! Hope you enjoy the photos.

SPACE DAY!!

Today was space day and the kids had an out of this world time! We started our day learning to use our bodies the way astronauts have to use theirs on the space shuttles with a hula hoop game. Then we made Star Constellation viewers and camp visors. The highlight of our day was the space alien contest in which each lodge was given materials to dress their lodge leader up as a space alien. The kids had a blast and created some memorable looks! I have included a slide show of our work and a short video so you can see the fun for yourself!

PIRATE DAY!!

Camp has officially started! We had fun-filled day learning how to be pirates. We went on a treasure hunt, learned some pirate language and songs, and even made our own pirate hats. We also rotated through stations like making treasure maps and seahorses. Thanks to all the parents who donated items for this special time. We really appreciate it!
