Today's motto was Hair's to a Drug Free Life! We had some fantastic hairstyles walking the halls of Kaufman and our class was full of some of the craziest!

Red Ribbon Week--Camo Day

Today's motto was Be All You Can Be...Be Drug Free! Students and teachers wore camoflauge to remember this important lesson!

Our New Class Shirts!

We got our class shirts today and we look great! Thanks to all our parents who ordered them for us. They sure make us look like a team and will be easy to spot this spring when we go on the field trip to the Houston Zoo!

Read For Life

Thank you to all the parents that came and read to our class on Read For Life Day today! We heard so many great stories and found out that our class is full of wonderful parent and grandparent readers! We also had a special treat of having a few of the football players from Oak Ridge High School who came in to read to our class. Thank you to everyone for reminding us of how important it is to read everyday!

Our Special Class Visitor

This week we had fun reading the story Hedgehog Bakes and Cake and also reading some non-fiction articles about real-life hedgehogs! Then we were surprised by a visit from a real life hedgehog! The students and I were so excited to be able to experience what we were learning about up close and personal!
